Welcome to Vacation Village, the premier modern orthodox Jewish vacation community in the Catskill Mountains. Developed in 1983 by VCV Development Corp (Nachman Kanovsky and Heshy Spitzer) builders of many Jewish Second Home developments in the mountains, Vacation Village is their crown jewel.

Our nearly year-round community consists of 220 homes on 144 acres in Loch Sheldrake, in the beautiful Catskill Mountains 100 miles from New York City. The Vacation Village community established the Young Israel of Vacation Village and is a proud member of the National Council of Young Israel. Our diverse homeowners come from as near as Liberty, New York and as far away as Israel.
